across the park at the corner of Broadway and 196th Street SE
featuring fresh produce, fruit and herbs.
You will find fresh selections of produce, fruit, herbs and dairy
products. The majority of the produce is grown in our hothouses and in
the outdoor production fields supplemented with locally and Washington
grown seasonal fruits and vegetables. The English cucumbers, tomatoes
and peppers are greenhouse grown and most of the other produce is
grown in the fields. Therefore, we are able to harvest and prepare the
vegetables daily, assuring you the freshest quality. It is not
unlikely that you will find a beautiful head of Red Leaf lettuce
displayed, which 10 minutes earlier was still growing in the field!
Look for the 'Maltby Grown' labels identifying the products grown by
us.
An extensive selection of potted herbs is available in the attached greenhouse. Fresh herbs are grown in the fields immediately behind the market and are harvested and prepared daily. Need fresh cilantro, basil leaves, oregano, thyme, dill, bay laurel, lemon verbena...we have it all! The fresh eggs are gathered twice a day from our laying hens. You can actually walk through the herb and vegetable fields to the chicken coups to see our brood in action. There are also peacocks, pheasants, ducks, rabbits, goats and sheep to entertain you!! Bring your kids, they would love to see the animals in action!
With the growing concern and the desire to eat healthier and
fresher foods, with the enthusiasm and excitement of preparing
different and more exotic dishes, you owe it to yourself and your
family to come out and check us out. If you like the 'healthy
approach' make it a weekly fresh produce stop.

We are offering you the same assortment and quality of farm fresh produce that the Maltby Produce Market is known for. At Marshland Market we also offer you a full line of containerized herbs, which have been grown at our Flower World site in Maltby. Or you may want to try some of the freshly cut herbs for your daily cooking, canning, and garnishing.

'LARGE' TREE SECTIONThere is a spacious area set aside for the display and sale of Large Trees. Often people are looking for one or more 'mature' trees to add to their landscape, or to replace one or more of their trees. Tall and big screening trees and shrubs are in demand as well. You will be able to select from our large displays of evergreen and deciduous trees and hedging material. Give us a call if you need more information. Delivery is available.
